King Charles III Coronation Bug Club

Last Tuesday Bug Club had a great evening celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.  We had great fun making our own golden crowns and decorating them with ribbons and gems.  We then made big Union Flag windmills.  The children then made and decorated coronation cakes. They used red, white and blue icing, sprinkles and tiny crowns.  They were then put into a super bus cake stand ready for tea.

Now that the sunny weather is finally here, we are able to get out and use our lovely grounds.  The children were given some lengths of willow and a blanket.  I think you'll agree that they came up with an amazing home complete with wigwam, fire and an edged garden.
