Assemblies
Collective Worship
At Manor Field Infant School, we have a duty to provide a daily act of collective worship. Each day there will be either a whole school, year group or class assembly where children reflect on and explore a range of ideas. This may include what is happening in the world around us, using the 'Newsround' website.
Class or year group assemblies are also held at the end or during a topic to share what the children have been learning, with the rest of the school or parents. These are organised by year group teachers.
Friday Assemblies
Every Friday at Manor Field Infant School, we hold a STAR assembly. Children are presented with certificates to show how they have shown the STAR values for that week. With this, two children from each class will be awarded 'STAR of the Week', these children get to wear a red Star of the Week cap too!
Singing Assemblies
Each week the children come together to learn and sing songs. These assemblies are very popular and are lead by our talented Mrs Polden. The recording below is of our school song which is based around our STAR values. This brilliant song was written by Mrs Polden for our school.
