Year 1

A Right Royal Occasion

In Spring 2, Year 1 looked at the history of toys and how they have changed over time. They had the opportunity to look at the difference between old and new toys and discuss their similarities and differences. 

To Infinity and Beyond

In Spring 1, Year 1 had a very exciting topic all about Space! They researched and compared 3 famous astronauts; Neil Armstrong, Tim Peake and Helen Sharman, and the key historical events they were part of. They put all the information into a fact file which they shared with Year 2.

All About Us

In the Autumn term, Year 1 looked at old photos of themselves and put them in the correct order from newborn up to school age. We really enjoyed looking back at old pictures of ourselves and seeing how we had changed over time!
