HAPPY NEW YEAR

At the start of each new year, we discuss our school values and ask the children to think about Aspiration. We talked about what they would like from the year and what they would like to be when they are older. They definately did "Dream Big".
.
Following on from our chats with the children about their aspirations, we looked at the book by Dr Seuss called Oh the places you'll go! and how their dreams will not only impact them but their friends, families and people they havent even met yet. They then made beautiful hot air balloons to help them on their journey.

Mother's Day Crafts This year we have had great fun creating lots of wonderful gifts for our mums. The children practised their sewing skills making felt pocket hugs. They then decorated pots and make lovely floral cards. lastly, we made sure that our 'tea-riffic' mums had a cuppa and the children cut out a teapot and put a teabag on the top.
