October 2020

October has been a very busy month in Wrap Around Club celebrating Autumn, Harvest and Halloween. As well as all the day to day fun with craft activities and playing games with friends.
We started off with our Autumn nature walk in our school grounds collecting natural resources to create our self portraits. We used twigs, moss, leaves and seeds to personalise our faces. Using the same resources, we created our Autumn display board with stick owls, as well as a selection of different craft and paint techniques to make squirrels, foxes and hedgehogs.

.
Next we enjoyed learning about the meaning of harvest and why we celebrate it in school and how we can use it to help our local community.

.
There was a lot of excitement around Halloween with everyone looking forward to making the pumpkin mobiles and baking with
Ms de Vulder. This year it was marshmallow ghosts.
