Visions and Values

Vision Statement

Our STAR values create a framework for all children, staff and parents to achieve our aims.

S is for Success

T is for Teamwork

A is for Aspirations

R is for Respect

Success

We enjoy SUCCESS when we feel a personal sense of responsibility and achievement. No one knows their true potential but in our quest for high standards and excellence, we open new doors and broaden horizons.

Teamwork

We believe TEAMWORK is the foundation of our community. We build partnerships with others, creating a sense of belonging, encouraging participation and active involvement.

Aspirations

We ASPIRE to be the best. Our expectations are high and, with encouragement and challenge, our learners can achieve anything they set their mind to.

Respect

We earn the RESPECT of others by listening, responding and showing we understand. We recognise that everyone is unique and we value and celebrate diversity. We build meaningful relationships showing care and support for all.

By using our STAR values and RRR ethos we embody and promote our schools values and thus fulfil the requirements of the guidance below.

Achievement tree

We now have our ‘achievement tree’ in place in the school hall.  We are sending home some leaves for you write any key ‘achievements’ your child reaches.  These will then be displayed on the ‘achievement tree’ for the remainder of the year in the hall.  Achievement leaves can be awarded when your child has achieved something for the first time or has made you say ‘Wow’ e.g. when they have read a new tricky word, when they achieve swimming awards or try hard at something.  We look forward to receiving your leaves and celebrating with your child.
