Our Little Stars are nominated by the peers in their class. Each class has two little star representatives ( a boy and girl). These Little Stars attend meetings and are the 'voice' for their peers.
On Friday 26th January 2018, the Little Star representatives from Year 1 and 2 attended a School Council Cluster meeting at Cranbourne Buisness and Enterprise College. The guest speak was a man called Chris Lubbe who was Nelson Mandela's bodyguard.
The Rights Respecting Schools Award is a Unicef UK programme that aims to put children’s rights at the heart of schools in the UK. We want our school to embed children’s rights in our ethos and culture to improve well-being and develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.
As part of respecting the right to play and rest we have introduced Playground Pals. Playground Pals support children who might be feeling like they need a friend or someone play with or talk to. We also have a playground bench for children to sit on if they want someone to play with.
